Sample Collection & Preparation

Accurate analysis begins with accurate sampling. Our field teams collect coal and mineral samples at loading points strictly in accordance with BIS & ISO standards, using a zero deviation methodology that leaves no room for error or dispute. The entire process is fully transparent — representatives of both coal companies and consumers are welcome to witness the collection firsthand.

Once collected, each sample goes through a carefully controlled preparation process.

• Reduced to an appropriate working size
• Further reduced to 12.5 mm for moisture determination
• Ground down to a fine powder of 212 microns for laboratory analysis
• Divided into four equal, representative portions for independent testing and reference

This end-to-end chain of custody ensures that every result we deliver is traceable, reproducible, and defensible.
